Entering the third week of January 2024, the schedule and statistical activities at Statistics of Mojokerto Municipality are getting busier. various trainings, refreshments and briefings for the implementation of routine BPS field survey enumeration activities began to be held. In 2024, there will be changes to the routine large surveys usually carried out by BPS.
Changes in the implementation of routine surveys include the implementation of the field enumeration of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) and the Quarterly Household Economic Survey (Seruti) which are usually carried out in March, this year the implementation has been moved forward to February 2024, almost at the same time as the implementation of the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). This change was made in consideration of the Agricultural Economic Survey (SEP) activities as a continuation of the 2023 Agricultural Census which is planned to be held in the March - April 2024 period.
Susenas is a survey that produces various indicators in the social and economic fields such as education, health, household expenditure, etc. Meanwhile, Seruti is a household-based survey which is an integration of three surveys, namely Susenas, Special Quarterly Household Consumption Survey (SKKRT), and Special Survey of Household Savings and Investment (SKTIR). The aim of this survey is to reduce duplication of activities and increase efficiency, as well as produce higher quality household economic statistical data
The series of preparations for implementing these two activities has started since the beginning of January 2024 by selecting/recruiting the best partners who have passed the selection of prospective BPS partners in 2024. Next, the Susenas and Seruti Regional Instructor Training (INDA) activities were carried out which started on Friday the 12th. January 2024 with independent learning using the Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) method on the BPS RI Learning Management System (LMS), followed by Distance Learning (PJJ) for 3 days on 15 - 17 January 2024, online using Zoom Meeting.
Furthermore, training for Susenas March and Seruti 2024 officers will be carried out in 2 waves in the last week of January 2024. The Susenas field implementation schedule starts on February 19 - March 9 2024, almost the same as the Sakernas field implementation schedule which starts on February 15 - March 7 2024.
