2020 Population Census Results of Mojokerto Municipality

The Population Census is a mandate of Law No. 16 of 1997 concerning Statistics, which is carried out every ten years in the year ending in zero (0). The 2020 Population Census (SP2020) is the seventh census. The six previous censuses conducted in 1961, 1971, 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010 still used traditional methods. For the first time in the history of the population census in Indonesia, the implementation of SP2020 uses a combination method, namely by using population administration data from the Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration of the Ministry of Home Affairs as a database for the implementation of SP2020. This is designed and implemented as an effort to realize "ONE INDONESIAN POPULATION DATA". Thus, the aim of SP2020 is to provide data on the number, composition, distribution and characteristics of the Indonesian population.
